Research
I am an Adjunct Instructor and PhD Candidate in Political Science at American University. My research focuses on religion and politics, ethnic identity, political socialization, and public opinion. My dissertation, State vs. Faith, examines how state-led secularization can reshape religious identity, collective action, and long-run political backlash.
Current Collaborations
- With David Lublin: institutions and ethnic-party support.
- With Elizabeth Suhay: meritocratic values across immigrant generations.
